Abstract (en)

An inductive power distribution system is provided comprising a high-frequency electric power supply (2402), a primary conductive path (2405) connected to said electric power supply (2402), an electrical device (2101) having inductive pick-up means (23103) capable of deriving at least some power from a magnetic field associated with said primary conductive path (2405), said primary conductive path (2405) comprising a pair of conductors (10110, 10111) extending substantially parallel to each other and connected to each other at their terminal ends, and said inductive pick-up means having a core (10102) of an E-shaped form, and each of said pair of conductors (10110, 10111) being positioned in the middle of a gap between two adjacent legs of the E-shape core (10102). <IMAGE>
