[origin: EP0819483A2] The device has a flanging tool (27) with inner and outer tool parts. The inner tool part (20) is positioned turnable on a shaft journal (17), which is fastened to a rotating shaft (12) and is located inside the outer tool part (14). The central axis (19) of the journal is inclined through an angle ( alpha ) relative to the rotary axis (13) of the shaft, and cuts across the axis at a point (S), positioned in an imaginary plane through the flange surface (23). The outer tool part is separately formed, and is fastened to a non-turnable centre sleeve (7) around the shaft. The inner tool part is positively connected to the outer part, to prevent its turning about the shaft axis.
