Abstract (en)
The container, made from a flat panel of cardboard or plastics, is cut out and folded to form four walls (4,8), a base and a lid (26). Two opposite panels (28,32) at the top of the container fold inwards and interlock to act as a wedge for its contents. One of the two wedging flaps has a number of transverse slots (36), while the opposite one has a projecting tongue (24) to engage with one of the slots. A third flap (26) pivoted along the same edge (16) of the container forms the lid, having a tongue (40) which is inserted into the opposite side and is locked in place by a slot (42) and tab coupling.

Le flan est destiné à être plié pour constituer une boîte de conditionnement, le flan comportant quatre parois (2, 4, 6, 8) ayant un bord (16) destiné à définir une embouchure de la boîte, et un premier (32) et un deuxième (28) volets articulés au bord de deux parois (8, 4) opposées. Le premier volet (32) comporte une patte (34) à une extrémité terminale. Le deuxième volet (28) comporte au moins deux fentes (36) se succédant entre le bord (16) de la paroi associée et l'extrémité terminale (38), et adaptées chacune à recevoir la patte (34) de sorte que le premier volet (32) est immobilisé à l'intérieur de la boîte dans une configuration plane et en position inclinée par rapport à la paroi associée (8). <IMAGE>
