Abstract (en)
The appts. to measure the repeat length of a surface relief pattern on a fabric, at a stenter frame and the like, is an optical yarn counter (12) to register the length (L) of the pattern at the fabric (1). It identifies the relief profile of the pattern to give the repeat length through repetitive characteristics (16) together with the fabric movement speed. Also claimed is an operation where the gap (A) between a marked relief section (16) of a pattern (11) and the same marked relief section (16) of the next pattern (11), along the line (2) of fabric (1) travel, is measured by the optical yarn counter (12) in relation to the fabric (1) travel speed.

Es wird eine Einrichtung zum Messen der Rapportlänge eines flachreliefartigen Musters einer kontinuierlich auf einem Spannrahmen oder dergleichen Maschine weiterbewegten textilen Stoffbahn beschrieben. Um die Länge des Rapports bei laufender Stoffbahn zu ermitteln und einzuhalten, wird der Rhythmus des Rapportprofils mit Hilfe eines optischen Fadenzählers auf einer Linie in Bahn-Transportrichtung erfaßt. Die Fadenzählersignale werden angezeigt und/oder zum Steuern des Maschinenantriebs im Sinne einer exakten Einstellung der vorgegebenen Rapportlänge geschaltet. <IMAGE>
