Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0819909A2] The bundle comprises metal pipes arranged parallel to one another with at least one one-piece flange-type collar (3) at one of their ends. The collars are arranged on a plate running at right-angles to the longitudinal axis of the pipe (2). The pipes in the area of the edges (5) of the collars (7) are welded to one another. The collars have a polygonal contour and at their edges are welded to one another. The polygon is equilateral. The pipes are bundled so that the edges of the collars locate on one another without gaps. Alternatively, they can have gaps between them in which plates or tubes (6) with corresponding widened formations and-or collars are welded. As an alternative, the collars can have a round contour.
