The device (1) deactivates a security element (12) which has a soft magnetic material (13) with high permeability and low coercive force and a semi-strongly or strongly magnetic material (14) with low permeability and high coercive force. The first material is stimulated to remission of a characteristic signal by applying an alternating magnetic field to a monitoring zone. The characteristic signal is suppressed when the second material is saturated by the application of a corresp. high deactivation signal. The device has at least two permanent magnets (2,7) arranged with their poles (N,S) in mutually parallel planes. The magnets have a cuboid shape with a common lateral side in contact.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Deaktivieren eines Sicherungselementes (12) für die elektronische Artikelsicherung, wobei das Sicherungselement (12) ein magnetisches Material mit hoher Permeabilität und geringer Koerzitivkraft (weichmagnetisches Material (13)) und ein magnetisches Material mit geringer Permeabilität und hoher Koerzitivkraft (halbhart- oder hartmagnetisches Material (14)) aufweist, wobei das weichmagnetische Material (13) durch Anlegen eines magnetischen Wechselfeldes in einer Überwachungszone zur Remission eines charakteristischen Signals angeregt wird und wobei das charakteristische Signal unterdrückt wird, wenn sich das halbhart- oder hartmagnetische Material (14) nach Anlegen eines entsprechend hohen Magnetfeldes in der Sättigung befindet. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Vorrichtung (1) vorzuschlagen, die eine Deaktivierung eines Sicherungselements (12) zur elektronischen Artikelsicherung über eine gewisse Entfernung erlaubt. Die Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß zumindest zwei Permanentmagnete (2;7; 2;8) vorgesehen sind, deren Pole (N;S) in zueinander parallelen Ebenen liegen. <IMAGE>
