[origin: EP0820083A2] The circuit-breaker has a piston-cylinder blowing device and/or a storage volume for electric-arc heated extinguishing gas. The switch has two contact members which can be brought into and out of engagement with each other. It also has a drive and force transmission elements, which transfer a force from the drive to a first of the two contact members. This contact member is in operative connection with at least one return lock (21,26). The return lock (21,26) locks only when the switch-off movement of the first contact member is interrupted. The return lock (21,26) is not activated during a switch on process from the switch off position of the circuit-breaker.
