Abstract (en)
A device for mixing paint in its can (11) comprises a lid which fits on to the can and carries a rotating assembly comprising a shaft (13) which extends down into the can and carries a paddle (15), the lower end of the assembly being urged axially towards the floor (17) of the can by the rotation of the paddle but prevented from direct contact therewith by a freely rotatable member (31) with at least three projections (39) contacting the floor.

L'invention concerne un couvercle agitateur pour boîte de teinte sur les machines d'agitation de peinture, de type comprenant un axe agitateur (7) monté libre en translation relativement au couvercle, pourvu d'une tige axiale (13) entraînée en rotation et d'une pale d'agitation inférieure (15), l'axe agitateur (7) étant apte à s'appliquer en butée sur le fond (17) de boîte sous la poussée de la pale en cours d'agitation. Selon l'invention, l'axe agitateur (7) comporte à son extrémité inférieure un embout (31) d'application sur le fond de boîte, cet embout étant monté libre en rotation sur l'axe agitateur (7) et étant pourvu d'au moins trois éléments en saillie inférieurs (39) aptes à venir en contact par un même plan perpendiculaire à l'axe avec la surface de fond (17) de la boîte. <IMAGE>
