Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0820936A2] The package is made of semi-rigid material e.g. card or corrugated cardboard with four walls (1,2) at right angles to one another, folded at one end to form inner (3) and outer (4) top flaps. At one end of the box top the flaps are folded along oblique lateral lines (15), forming two sections (4a) which are connected to the main part of the top by perforated lines (7) and two other sections (4b) which are joined to an end flap (13). By tearing along the perforated lines (7) and opening the end flap a chute is formed at one end of the box top, making it suitable for the display and presentation of articles for self-service.
