[origin: US5924466A] In a joint-arm awning comprising two joint arms disposed on a support pipe, it being possible by fastening brackets to join the support pipe to the wall of a housing, and devices being provided for adjustment of the angle of inclination of the awning in order to constructionally simplify the adjustment of the angle of inclination and obtain defined retraction conditions regardless of the adjusted angle of inclination, that the support pipe is substantially round, having a longitudinal groove, with which engages a locking element for adjustment of the angle of inclination.

Bei einer Gelenkarm-Markise umfassend zwei an einem Tragrohr (1) angeordnete Gelenkarme, wobei das Tragrohr (1) über Befestigungskonsolen (2) mit einer Gebäudewand verbindbar ist, und wobei Einrichtungen zur Neigungsverstellung der Markise vorgesehen sind, ist zur Erzielung einer konstruktiven Vereinfachung der Neigungsverstellung und zur Erzielung gleichbleibend definierter Einfahrverhältnisse unabhängig von der eingestellten Neigung vorgesehen, daß das Tragrohr (1) im wesentlichen rund mit wenigstens einer Längsnut ausgebildet ist, in welcher ein Feststellelement (Nocken 17, Festellschraube) zur Neigungsverstellung eingreift. <IMAGE>
