Abstract (en)
A metal component (1) designed to be fixed to a masonry wall (2), e.g. to provide a corner reinforcement before being covered with a rendering material (3) containing a mineral charge (4), has flanges (7, 8) with at least one aperture, and a projecting edge (6) which is coated with a resin (12) containing a mineral charge (13). The resin coating has two undercoats - a bonding undercoat in contact with the metal and containing no mineral charge, and a finishing undercoat with a mineral charge - and it can be applied by spraying or dipping to give a thickness of between 1 and 4 mm. The mineral charge in the rendering and the resin coating is of silica or calcium carbonate in grains of 0.1 to 1 mm, while the metal component is made from galvanised steel or aluminium 0.1 - 2 mm thick.

L'invention concerne un élément métallique (1) comportant, d'une part, une tête (6) destinée à former une partie visible d'une surface de l'extérieur d'un bâtiment et, d'autre part, au moins une aile (7, 8) comportant une ouverture (10) et destinée à être recouverte d'au moins une couche (12) d'un enduit (3) comprenant une charge minérale (4). Elle se caractérise en ce que ladite tête (6) est revêtue d'une couche d'une résine (12) comportant une charge minérale (13, 13a, 13b). L'invention s'applique en particulier à la réalisation de cornières métalliques. <IMAGE>
