Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0821345A1] The fundamental frequency extraction method preaccentuates signals then inputs a number of frames of digital samples. A Fourier Transform calculation is then carried out of the energy transform of the samples, and also of the smoothed output of the current frame. The difference between the two calculations is taken, and the harmonic product taken. The fundamental frequency is then extracted from the harmonic product.
