[origin: EP0821541A2] A hearing aid, to be contained wholly within the ear passage as a completely in the canal (CIC) appliance, comprises a body (40) of a soft material to be customised for the individual wearing the appliance. The body (40) material has a Shore hardness A of 5-70, using a twin-component silicon plastics with cross linking additives.
