[origin: EP0822070A1] The roller (1) is fitted with a support stub (6) at each of its end for clamping onto the machine mounting. Between the stub and the roller bale (5) an adjustable support (4) is provided so as to alter the eccentricity of the roller mounting. In this way the roller is adjusted for optimum printing. The adjustment comprises a worm gear, or a simple rack and pinion gearing. The worm screw is fitted into a support disc and alters the effective position of the roller axle.
