Abstract (en)
The edge of the metal plate frame (2), parallel to the top side of the work surface (20), is bent over downwards and inwards to form a curved, peripheral outer rim (12). The frame is placed by its outer rim onto the work surface. The curved piece is pressed flat into at least one smooth surface (15,16). The end edge of the metal plate is also pressed in. At the same time as the pressing process, the transition part between the outer edge of the frame and the top surface (10) is shaped into an outward curved surface, or into a sloping smooth surface (11) of between 15 and 75 deg.

Rahmen (2) eines in die Öffnung einer Arbeitsplatte (20) einsetzbaren Bauteils aus Metallblech, wobei der Randbereich des zur Oberfläche der Arbeitsplatte (20) im wesentlichen parallelen Rahmenbleches nach unten und innen unter Bildung einer im Querschnitt bogenförmigen, umlaufenden Rahmenaußenkante (12) umgeschlagen ist und der Rahmen (2) mit dieser Außenkante auf die Arbeitsplatte (20) auflegbar ist, und wobei der Bogen der Rahmenaußenkante (12) von der Auflage- und/oder der Außenseite des Rahmens (2) her flach gepreßt ist. <IMAGE>
