[origin: EP0822331A2] The first pump stage (5) leads into the baffle pot (2) via an electric motor chamber (10). Details include the open-topped accumulator chamber (4) to house the pump (1) and draw fuel from tank (3) via filter (6) for transfer to the chamber so the surging fuel fills the chamber to overflow (7). The second pump stage (8) draws fuel from chamber (4) to meet engine requirements, using line (9).
