Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0822534A1] An awning made from a translucent material, e.g. of PVC or cloth, is illuminated from the inside by an artificial light which shines through a sign or advertisement attached to the awning so that it shows up after dark. The sign or advertisement is made so that it can be easily attached or removed from the awning material, so that it can be changed at will. The inside of the awning can be covered by an additional layer of translucent material to cover its structure and to which publicity material can also be attached.
