Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0822610A2] The reflective antenna has a main reflector (1) and a sub-reflector (2) with an absorption medium (3) applied to the reflection surface of the main reflector as an annular surface having a frequency-selective structure (4). The antenna operates according to the Cassegrain principle, with the position of the absorption medium relative to the surface of the main reflector corresponding to the odd reflections of the incident electromagnetic radiation. The inner edge of the annular surface may be defined by the projection of the sub-reflector onto the surface of the main reflector.
