[origin: DE19515234A1] The invention relates to metal components with an anti-corrosion coating based on a PU, epoxy or phenol resin with 10 to 80 wt. % of anti-corrosion pigments in relation to the solid content. The preferred anti-corrosion pigment is alpha -iron-III-oxide (black). The anti-corrosion coating is preferably used as a primer for subsequent bonding with a rubber compound under hot vulcanisation conditions. Both the primer and the binder are preferably applied by compressed-air spraying. It is possible in this way to obtain good corrosion resistance in the rubber/metal composite with simple means.
