Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9633861A1] The invention concerns a device for obtaining oils by pressing and subjecting to extraction a raw material which is oleiferous or contains extractable substances in the presence of a liquid or supercritical extraction medium. The device comprises a raw material delivery line, a substantially cylindrical pressure member which is connected to the delivery line and has oil outlets, and a pressure worm which is movably mounted in the cylindrical pressure member and conveys the raw material out of the delivery line into the pressure member and from there, under pressure, to an outlet opening. The device is characterized in that the pressure member is sealed against the atmosphere in a pressure-resistant manner by a casing, and in that the pressure worm and/or the pressure member comprises/comprise openings through which a pressurized liquid extraction agent can be introduced into the raw material in the pressure member. In order to enable the pressed cakes emerging from the press to be degassed by the application of a vacuum and so freed of solvent, a pipe may be located at the pressure member outlet.
