[origin: WO9634139A1] In a sinker with modules for tufting tools, especially a needle sinker with needle modules, one end of the tufting tools (2) is cast into a plate-like basic component (1) of the module. The basic component has at least one through drilling through which a securing screw (3) can pass and be screwed into the sinker (4) in which one horizontal groove (5) is made. On the side surface of the basic component (1) of each module facing the sinker (4) there is at least one moulding (6; 8) projecting perpendicularly to said surface which engages in the groove (5) in the sinker (4) to pivot about an axis running along the sinker (4). There are also means for locking the module to the sinker (4) in the predetermined angular position. This arrangement facilitates a slight adjustment of the tool plane in relation to the sinker and thus precise adaptation to the prevailing conditions.
