Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0824005A2] The improved design of chair has the front- and rear legs (1,2) sloping rearwards as well as sideways. This provides a spreading support shape for improved stability. The bottom of each leg is rounded. The chair has a shape which enables several chairs to be stacked together. The chair back has two uprights (5) linked by a crosspiece (6) near the top and with the seat formed by a shell (7) between the side frames (3). The open backrest allows the chair to be picked up with ease.
