[origin: EP0824045A2] The eccentric bearing sleeve (1) for a roll carrier shaft (4) is accommodated in a roll drive housing (2) and supports the roll carrier shaft at sections (4a, 4b) . The shaft carries an externally mountable rolling ring (5), and is provided between its bearings (1a', 1b') with an interposed toothed section (4d) which meshes through a cutout in the sleeve (1) with a drive gear (9) also accommodated in the housing (2). The bearing sleeve is characterised by the fact that the inside diameter (D) of the bearing (1a') is greater than the outside diameter (d) of the toothed section of the roll carrier shaft (4).
