Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0824874A2] The electric heating device is formed of at least one heatable sheet (1) inside the inner shoe. The or each heatable sheet consists of a layer of flexible plastics on which is at least one sinusoidal resistance layer (2) whose ends (7,8) are joined to an outward-pointing connecting lead (3) ending in at least one plug (4). An aluminium sheet (5) replaces the resistance layer at sensitive parts of the foot, such as ankle or heel. Incisions, perforations or the like are positioned in the heatable sheet at the sensitive spots of the foot.
