Abstract (en)
The system consists of folding handles (10) attached to the upper ends of two straps (8) which retract into cavities in the opposite side walls of the container, formed by riveted covers (14). Each strap has cylindrical stops (12) at its lower end to prevent it from being pulled out of the cavity and to retract it again automatically after use. The straps are made from a synthetic material or aluminium alloy strips which are thin in relation to their width. They are long enough to extend to the middle of the container top so that the two handles can be held in one hand. The retraction of the straps can be assisted by return springs.

Ce dispositif permet de porter un réceptacle comportant un fond (2), des parois latérales (4) et une ouverture (6) permettant d'accéder à l'intérieur du réceptacle. Il comporte sur deux parois latérales (4) sensiblement opposées, une pièce (8) de forme allongée mobile entre une position permettant de porter le réceptacle, dans laquelle une extrémité de la pièce mobile se trouve sensiblement au niveau de l'ouverture (6) du réceptacle et où l'autre extrémité est orientée vers l'autre pièce mobile (8), et une position de repos dans laquelle la pièce mobile (8) est rangée le long de la paroi latérale (4) correspondante, des moyens de préhension (10) étant prévus à une extrémité de chaque pièce de forme allongée mobile (8). <IMAGE>
