Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0824880A2] The seat surface (6) and back-rest (7) are fixed to the frame (5) on the side of which is a connecting system for the row of chairs consisting of at least one connector (11) and coupling element (12) co-operating with a coupling-holder (13). The coupling element and holder each are rigidly fixed to the connecting point at the widest point of the chair or arm-chair. The connecting point is positioned near the top end of the frame's legs (4) opening downwards in a V shape in the sitting direction. An extra connecting point for the connector is positioned at the free end of a the frame's support strut (9) supporting the back-rest.
