Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0824966A1] The shredding elements are connected to a rotary drive (18) to form one complete structural group (17) which can be fixed on and removed from the housing (36 preferably by screw connections (34) releasable from the top side of the housing. The housing can be closed at the top by a removable cover which can be screwed and locked on the housing. A plastics or metal mesh sieve can be detachably fitted in the housing eg by magnets. The shredder has cutter blades.
