Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0825131A1] The valve plate covering the mouth of the container has an annular notching (4) encompassing a face (3) which is of such a size that when there is a predetermined overpressure inside the vessel there is sufficient force on the notching for breaking open. The aforementioned face encompasses the axis of the valve, and the notching is broken at one point of the circumference, and the break occupies a circumferential angle of between 10 and 90 degrees.
