Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19633766C1] To apply a coating simultaneously to both sides of a paper web, the web is passed through the gap between two rubber rollers where each applies a coating to the paper surface. The coating material is applied by a screen roller from a supply to each of the rubber rollers, to be transferred to the paper web.
