Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0825318A2] The door check strap has several rotary brake and holding members (21) formed as rolling bodies and mounted in a brake member support (28) which is mounted concentric with the hinge pin (5) and is biased by a spring load directed to cover the holding device. The brake member support is pot-shaped and is in positive engagement by several axially aligned recesses in the upper end wall with an entrainment plate (27) connected rotationally secure with the hinge pin and having on its circumference several radially directed recesses.
