Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19633258C1] A piston working in a cylinder has low- and high-pressure sides with unions together with a supply union, there being a differential piston between the two sides. The slide of a control valve alternately connected the low-pressure union to a pressure source and an accumulator, and is connected by a control pipe to the cylinder with pistons, the pressure in this pipe acting against one side of the side. The slide (17) consists of a differential piston, against whose other side (29) a constant pressure (P) acts. This pressure can be that of the pressure source, and the control pipe can lead into the high-pressure side of the cylinder at the portion swept by the booster piston, being shut off by the latter at the start of its stroke towards the high-pressure union. The slide can form an annular chamber (25) in the valve housing (18), into which tank-, pump- and cylinder-pipes lead.
