[origin: EP0826317A2] A helmet comprises a helmet main body, an opening portion openable and closable by a shield element pivotably connected to support shaft bodies such that the shield element is rotatable over a set angle about the support shafts of the support shaft bodies. Further, there is provided a helmet shield mounting structure which comprises push means and holding means for holding the shield element which is mountable on the support shafts, on said support shafts counter to pushing pressure.
