Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0826443A2] The device (E) comprises a sensing arm (6) which is supplied with at least one reference point (10) for positioning on a reference surface. The reference point may be arranged at a vertical distance from a pressure point of the rivet punch (2), which is larger than the upset head height (h). The oversize (x1) of the distance (x) is kept between a trip pin (11) and a contact rod (12). The trip pin is assigned to the sensing arm (6). The sensing arm and trip pin are fixed on a stroke slide (8) which is vertically movable in guides (14). The contact pin (12) is also vertically movable. The contact pin is likewise arranged in the guides. The contact pin is connected to a slide (13) to these arranged and with a spindle thread (15) of an adjusting rod (16).
