Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0826595A2] The system has a display with a monitor surface (2) containing several display fields for the rudder blades. Each field shows the instantaneous position of at least one rudder blade in graphical form, from which the depth and the lateral direction changes of a submarine can be detected from the selected rudder blade positions. Predefined end values for a uniform motion state are also displayed. Corresponding instantaneous values of operating parameters are defined for a directional change of the submarine in at least two dimensions.
