[origin: EP0826602A1] The packing machine can be assembled from modules for a particular task. The machine has a machine bed (1), consisting of two spaced-out rows of hollow bed modules (2) connected to and behind each other in the longitudinal direction, connected by transverse webs (4). The transverse webs may consist of vertical flat iron strips, fitted in the lower region of the bed modules The machine may rest on adjustable feet (8) fitted only in the transverse webs extending between the bed modules, with two modules screwed to their opposite contact surfaces.
