[origin: EP0826802A1] For the spinning of a multifilament, from a thermoplastic material, the filaments are initially cooled in a cooling zone, and then heated before passing through a second cooling zone to reduce the filament temp. Also claimed is an assembly with a heat radiator (52) aligned at the filaments between the upper side wall (51) and lower side wall (53) in the cooling shaft (14) under the spinneret plate (11).
