The system to control the paper quality at the stock inlet, to set the lateral and/or longitudinal paper profile has a sensor (30) to measure one characteristic of the paper web profile, and a further sensor (31) which registers a different characteristic. Also claimed is an operation where the signals from the sensors are processed in a computer unit, to control the settings of the units to vary the longitudinal and/or lateral profile according to the measured characteristics of the pulp and web profile.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Regeleinrichtung und ein Verfahren für die Regelung des Quer- und/oder Längsprofiles mindestens eines Qualitätsmerkmales beim Papierherstellungsprozeß mit Hilfe zweier Sensoren, wobei der erste Sensor (30) ein erstes Meßsignal des Quer- und/oder Längsprofiles eines ersten Qualitätsmerkmales der produzierten Papierbahn aufnimmt und ein zweiter Sensor (21) ein weiteres Meßsignal aufnimmt. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der weitere Sensor (31) zur Aufnahme eines anderen Qualitätsmerkmals als der erste Sensor (30) geeignet ist beziehungsweise dieses andere Qualitätsmerkmal mißt. <IMAGE>
