Abstract (en)
An office partition consists of a central panel (1) covered on each side by a layer of fabric (T1,T2). The panel is edged by extrusions (2) shaped to receive the edges of the fabric, which are held in place by tensioning and fastening elements (3) and double-sided adhesive strips between the fabric layers and the edges of the extrusions. Each extrusion has a recess on each side of a central cross-piece: one to receive the edge of the panel and the other to receive a projection on the inside of the fastening element. The extrusions are made from a synthetic material such as PVC, and the fastening elements are of metal.
