[origin: EP0826842A1] An office partition consists of a central panel (1) covered on each side by a layer of fabric (T1,T2). The panel is edged by extrusions (2) shaped to receive the edges of the fabric, which are held in place by tensioning and fastening elements (3) and double-sided adhesive strips between the fabric layers and the edges of the extrusions. Each extrusion has a recess on each side of a central cross-piece: one to receive the edge of the panel and the other to receive a projection on the inside of the fastening element. The extrusions are made from a synthetic material such as PVC, and the fastening elements are of metal.

Cloison de séparation pour mobilier de bureau de type destiné à former des ensembles paysagers, comprenant un panneau central (1) revêtu sur chaque face d'une pièce de tissu latérale (T1, T2) tendue sur ladite face, ledit panneau central (1) étant entouré d'un cadre périphérique (3) extérieur bordant les surfaces revêtues de tissu, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte entre le panneau central (1) et le cadre extérieur (3) un profilé périphérique (2) fixé audit panneau (1) et comportant un profil externe muni de moyens pour tendre et fixer les pièces de tissu latérales (T1, T2) et de moyens pour fixer le cadre périphérique. <IMAGE>
