[origin: EP0826845A2] The device connects structural elements which are loaded in tension at butt-joints between reinforcement. The device has at least one element which ends in a loop forming part of a pair of elements (1,4) which are staggered in level. A connector (3) is arranged on an axis normal to the plane of the loop, and is at least partly surrounded by the latter. The connector makes a positive connection between the elements, and has a rounded outer circumference which corresponds to the inner circumference of the loop in at least one region in which it is surrounded. Both elements may have loops, and these may overlap in a region in which a connector with opposing rounded circumferential regions, can be arranged loosely.
