Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0826878A1] The valve sealing surface works in conjunction with a valve seat surface (13) on the valve body (1) for controlling an injection opening cross-section. A lift stop surface (35) is located opposite to the valve body (1), and on which the valve member (8) after executing an outwardly directed maximum opening stroke comes to locate with a locating surface (37). The fixed lift stop surface (35) and the valve member locating surface (37) working in conjunction with it are conically formed. The transition between the conical locating surface (37) on the valve member (8) to its cylindrical shaft is arched and has a large radius.
