[origin: EP0826883A2] The pump has a housing (17) with rotary piston (1) and rotary cylinder (2). Piston or cylinder is driven from outside the housing, and the piston drives the cylinder, or vice versa. A sector-shaped segment on the cylinder circumference extends so far in circumferential direction of the cylindrical housing chamber (10), that the intake and discharge channels (8,9) can be closed simultaneously by the rotary piston. The cylinder is guided in grooves (15) or bushes, or on rails etc. in the side walls (6) of the housing chamber.
