Rolling process for small H-beam section preforms from a rectangular, preferably continuous cast starting section, for rolling out in a finishing line is claimed, where the starting section is rolled in the break-down line to a cross section forming two joined beam preforms with webs in a common horizontal plane and is parted in the vertical centre plane into two equal sections at the end of the break-down line or immediately after.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Walzverfahren zur Herstellung von Vorprofilen für in einer Fertigstraße auszuwalzende Doppel-T-förmige Profile kleiner Querschnitte, aus einem im Querschnitt rechteckigen, vorzugsweise stranggegossenen Ausgangsquerschnitt. Dabei wird aus dem Ausgangsquerschnitt in der Vorstraße ein Vorprofil gewalzt, dessen Querschnitt aus zwei zusammenhängenden klappsymmetrischen Vorprofilquerschnitten für je ein Doppel-T-förmiges Endprofil gebildet ist, deren Stege in einer gemeinsamen Horizontalebene angeordnet sind, und das Vorprofil wird am Ende der Vorstraße oder unmittelbar anschließend in der senkrechten Mittelebene in zwei gleiche Vorprofile getrennt. <IMAGE>
