Abstract (en)
The absorber comprises first elements (1) able to slide along support elements (3) under the effect of longitudinally applied energy. The first elements are friction elements and the energy is absorbed solely by friction between the first elements and the support elements. The friction elements are outside the support elements. Second friction elements able to slide along the support elements, under the effect of longitudinally applied energy, are located inside the support elements. Energy is thus absorbed by friction between the first and/or the second friction elements and the support elements. The coefficient of friction between the first friction elements, the second friction elements and the support elements is defined by the clamping torque of the clamps (4).

La présente invention porte sur un dispositif d'absorption d'énergie comportant des premiers éléments (1) susceptibles de coulisser le long d'éléments d'appui (3), ou inversement, sous l'effet de l'énergie appliquée longitudinalement audit dispositif, caractérisé en ce que lesdits premiers éléments (1) sont des éléments de frottement et en ce que ladite énergie est absorbée par seul frottement entre lesdits premiers éléments de frottement (1) et lesdits éléments d'appui (3). La présente invention porte également sur un véhicule et sur une rame comportant un tel dispositif. <IMAGE>
