[origin: EP0828023A2] An agent for dyeing or printing natural and/or synthetic fibre textiles contains polyaspartic acid (I) or its derivative and optionally wetting agent, emulsifier, levelling agent, dispersant, reducing agent, oxidant, solvent aid, antifoam, resist agent, pH regulator and/or chelating agent. Also claimed is a method of dyeing or printing these textiles by treatment with a dye liquor or printing paste containing this agent and the use of the agent as ancillary in dyeing and printing.
