[origin: EP0828051A2] The bottom part (15) of the threshold (10) is made of non-crush foam. It is covered on the step side partly by the upper cladding part (16), by a threshold cover (17) and by an inner surround (18). The bottom part is covered on all sides as far as the floor surface (19). The bottom part and a floor-side support part are made in one piece from non-crush foam, or alternately there is a parting plane between the bottom part and support part. The support part and bottom part incorporate at least one fixture ridge and at least one fixture groove (23).
