A transport track passes through the drying channel with air-permeable accommodation for blanks. Blowing points are provided for concentrated blowing onto the blanks, whereby the drying air flow is moved area-wise from above and area-wise from below through the blank channels. The transport track comprises blank carriers (4), which accommodate a group of blanks and are formed in vertical cross-section by right-angled V-type accommodations or accommodation angles supporting one or two layers of perforated tile blanks (3). At least one of the accommodations or angles has a V-shaped arm (4a) through which air flows.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Trocknen von Lochziegel-Formlingen sowie einen Tunneltrockner. Dabei werden die Lochziegel-Formlinge zum Trocknen auf ihren Schnittflächen aufliegend in ein- oder doppellagiger Anordnung auf luftdurchströmbarer Unterlage durch den Tunneltrockner transportiert und von zwangsweise bewegter, entsprechend den Erfordernissen konditionierter heißer Trocknungsluft durchströmt. Das Erfindungswesentliche besteht darin, daß die Lochziegel-Formlinge (3) während des Trocknungsprozesses mit ihrer gelochten Schnittfläche (3b) auf einer aus der Horizontalen geneigten Schrägfläche aufliegend transportiert sowie dabei in einer eine schwindungsbedingte Verschiebung zulassenden, ein Abrutschen jedoch verhindernden Anordnung gehalten werden. <IMAGE>
