Abstract (en)
Time display for a mobile phone, which communicates via a base station (A) and from which a time signal is received. The time signal is transmitted from the base station, where a counter (5) counts through an endless cycle between two end-points and the emitted counter signal is converted by the mobile telephone into a time, which can be shown on the phone's display. The base station (A) includes a device (1,3) to reset the counter and a device (2,4) for transmission of the counter state. The mobile phone has circuits for calculating the time from the received counter state.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Anzeige der Uhrzeit in einem Funktelefon, wobei in diesem kein Uhrenbaustein vorhanden sein soll, und wobei der zur Kommunikation des Funktelefons mit seiner Basisstation verwendete Standard nicht modifiziert werden soll. Hierzu wird ein von der Basisstation ausgesendetes Zählersignal so initialisiert, daß es zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit immer einen bestimmten Zählerstand hat, wodurch in einem Funktelefon die Uhrzeit aufgrund dieses empfangenen Zählerstands errechnet werden kann. <IMAGE>
