Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0828268A2] The snap-action mechanism (6) is supported by a carrier (11) and responds to a defined threshold value of the process parameter being reached to return to an initial condition, with a coupling element for operation of an auxiliary switch (9). The carrier of the snap-action mechanism is fitted into the housing of the signalling and/or protection device via a clamp coupling using opposing reception grooves for the carrier provided by the housing. Pref. the axial insertion depth of the carrier is limited by a stop provided by the housing.
