Abstract (en)
The device has an outer conductor (70), an inner conductor core (75) and an intermediate dielectric layer (78). The inner conductor core is formed from a section which is made up of a number of sections of different diameters, forming a number of discontinuities. The inner conductor core diameters form a filter which filter spurious responses towards the centre of the cable and prevent their propagation towards the receiver unit. Signals of required frequency are allowed to pass through the cable.

Dispositif de transport de signal électrique comportant une âme (75) et un conducteur extérieur (70) séparés par un diélectrique (78). L'âme, le conducteur extérieur et/ou le diélectrique présente(nt) des discontinuités formant des discontinuités d'impédances. L'ensemble des discontinuités est choisi pour permettre de limiter la propagation vers l'âme d'une onde perturbatrice dans un domaine déterminé de fréquences. Par exemple, l'âme est divisée en sections successives (721, 722, 723) ayant des impédances nettement différentes. <IMAGE>
